The Invitation
Two organizations. Both founded on conviction. Both structured for public benefit. Both possessing technology the other needs. This is how the future gets built.
The Choice
Someone will build the One App — the unified interface through which billions of people access information, communicate, and make decisions. The only question is who builds it, and for whom.
Future A
Google, Apple, or Microsoft builds the One App. Beautifully intelligent. Seamlessly integrated. And every conversation analyzed. Every preference monetized. Every cognitive weakness exploited.
The browser becomes an extraction engine. Email becomes a profiling tool. Messaging becomes a persuasion channel. AI becomes the most sophisticated advertising platform ever created.
This future is the default. It requires no action. It simply happens if no one builds the alternative.
Future B
Genesis and Mozilla build the One App. Beautifully intelligent. Seamlessly integrated. And your data is yours. Truth is verifiable. Manipulation is visible.
The browser becomes a truth engine. Email becomes private communication. Messaging becomes secure dialogue. AI becomes the most powerful tool for human agency ever created.
8 billion people gain access to the most powerful information tool ever created. Freedom.
The difference between these two futures is not technological. The technology exists. The difference is whether the organizations that believe in human agency have the courage to build together.
The Roadmap
Not a moonshot. A methodical, achievable roadmap that starts with what works today and builds toward what changes everything.
Truth verification. Manipulation detection. Knowledge graph enrichment. A Firefox extension that makes every web page transparent — showing what's true, what's misleading, and what's designed to manipulate you.
Browser + email + messaging in one sovereign interface. Deep Thunderbird integration. Matrix protocol bridges for federated, encrypted communication. Person-centric design where your identity is yours, not a platform's.
Federated identity. Community marketplace. The complete sovereign alternative to the platform economy. Not replacing Big Tech's products — replacing the model that makes you the product.
The Beginning
A Firefox extension. Truth verification on web pages. It doesn't look like a revolution.
Neither did a $499 phone with no keyboard.
Neither did a web browser released by a company most people had never heard of.
Revolutions don't announce themselves. They begin with a single act of courage from people who believe something better is possible.
The Convergence
This isn't a vendor relationship. It isn't a grant disbursement. It's two organizations — each holding half of something the world needs.
Mozilla Brings
Genesis Brings
Mozilla has what Genesis needs — reach, trust, and the browser that 200 million people already use. Genesis has what Mozilla needs — the intelligence layer that makes Firefox the most valuable browser on Earth. Neither can do this alone. Together, it's inevitable.
The Invitation
This is not a pitch for money. It's an invitation to build the future together. Two organizations — both founded on conviction, both structured for public benefit, both possessing technology the other needs.
The Browser
That saved the internet from monopoly. That proved open source could compete with billions. That 200 million people trust.
&
One partnership. Two missions aligned. A combined force that neither could achieve alone.
The Intelligence
That protects it. That verifies truth. That makes manipulation visible. That serves people, not platforms.
The browser that saved the internet.
The intelligence that protects it.
One app to set humanity free.
The Specifics
Clarity matters. Here is exactly what we're asking for, exactly what we'll deliver, and exactly when.
01
The Grant
Mozilla Foundation Tier II grant to activate Genesis technology for Firefox. Not equity. Not debt. A grant that aligns with Mozilla's mission to ensure the internet remains a global public resource. Full transparency on allocation. Quarterly deliverable milestones. Open-source all outputs.
02
Year 1
A production-ready Firefox extension delivering truth verification and manipulation detection to Firefox users. Listed on Mozilla Add-ons. Open-source repository. Documentation. Community contribution framework. Performance benchmarks. Security audit completed.
03
Ongoing
Not just a one-time grant. A strategic relationship where Genesis technology enriches Mozilla's entire product portfolio. Joint roadmap for Thunderbird integration. Collaboration on Matrix bridge architecture. Shared research on sovereign AI. Regular technical reviews and milestone check-ins.
The Experience
Technology matters only when it changes lives. Here's what the Genesis & Mozilla partnership means for the person sitting at the browser.
Before Genesis
You read an article claiming a new study proves something. You don't know if the study is real, if the article accurately represents it, or if the headline is designed to manipulate your emotions. You share it anyway because it confirms what you already believe.
With Genesis
A subtle indicator appears. The study is real but the article misrepresents the conclusion. Three specific claims are unsupported by the data. The headline uses two known manipulation techniques. You see the truth before you share.
Before Genesis
"Only 2 left in stock!" "87 people are looking at this right now!" "Sale ends in 03:42!" You feel the urgency. You buy. Later you discover the "sale" is permanent and the scarcity was manufactured.
With Genesis
Genesis quietly highlights: "Artificial scarcity detected. This item has shown 'Only 2 left' for 47 days. Price was $89 last week, raised to $129 before the 'sale' to $99." You decide with real information.
Before Genesis
You Google your symptoms. Page one is SEO-optimized content farms. Sponsored results from supplement companies. Fear-inducing worst-case articles designed for clicks. You're more anxious, not more informed.
With Genesis
Genesis cross-references your query against peer-reviewed medical literature. Flags content farm results. Identifies sponsored content masquerading as medical advice. Surfaces the actual evidence. You make an informed decision.
This isn't about making people smarter. It's about removing the systems designed to make them dumber. When manipulation is visible, people naturally make better decisions. They always have. They just haven't had the tools.
Shared DNA
We didn't choose Mozilla because of market share. We chose Mozilla because when you lay the two organizations side by side, the alignment is uncanny.
Mozilla Manifesto
"The internet is a global public resource that must remain open and accessible."
"Individuals' security and privacy on the internet are fundamental."
"Individuals must have the ability to shape the internet and their own experiences."
"Transparent community-based processes promote participation, accountability, and trust."
Day 7 Principles
"Truth is the only thing that matters. All evidence must be examined."
"Sovereignty — independence from external control. Your data is yours."
"People decide — not AI. Present all evidence, users evaluate."
"Censorship causes more harm. Suppressing inquiry destroys credibility."
It's like Steve Jobs put everything into the first iPhone. We're one of those moments. But even bigger. Because we're not just converging devices. We're converging TRUTH.Carter Hill, Founder & CEO — Day 7 Public Benefit Corporation
The Window
Google is integrating Gemini into Chrome. Microsoft is embedding Copilot into Edge. Apple is weaving Apple Intelligence into Safari. The window for a sovereign alternative is measured in months, not years.
Every week that passes, the corporate convergence becomes more entrenched. Every week that passes, switching costs increase. Every week that passes, the opportunity narrows.
Q3 2026
Chrome AI Launch
Google integrates Gemini deep into Chrome browsing
Q4 2026
Edge Copilot v2
Microsoft deepens Copilot into every Edge interaction
2027
Lock-In Complete
Switching costs become prohibitive for most users
In 1998, Mozilla was born because one company tried to own the browser. In 2026, that fight returns — but this time they don't want the browser. They want intelligence itself. And this time, you don't fight alone.
Measuring Impact
Concrete milestones. Measurable outcomes. Complete accountability. Here's how we'll know this partnership is working.
Month 3
Beta Extension
Functional Firefox extension in beta. Truth verification on 100 test domains. Manipulation detection for top 5 persuasion techniques. Closed beta with 500 Mozilla community testers.
Month 6
Public Launch
Extension listed on Mozilla Add-ons. Full 14-technique manipulation detection. Knowledge graph expanded to 10M+ nodes. Open-source repository with contributor documentation. Public launch campaign.
Month 9
Growth & Impact
100,000+ active users. Impact metrics: manipulation techniques detected per user per day, truth verification accuracy rate, user satisfaction surveys. Performance optimizations based on real-world usage data.
Month 12
Strategic Review
Comprehensive impact report. User growth trajectory analysis. Thunderbird integration roadmap finalized. Year 2 partnership proposal with detailed technical specifications for the Unified Client.
Every milestone is measurable. Every deliverable is verifiable.
This is not hope. This is engineering.
The Stakes
This decision isn't about a grant application. It's about what kind of future 8 billion people inhabit. The stakes could not be higher.
For the first time in human history, we can build systems that detect when someone is trying to manipulate how you think. Not after the fact. In real time. Before the manipulation works. Before the dark pattern triggers the impulse buy. Before the emotionally charged headline rewires your beliefs. Genesis doesn't tell people what to think. It shows them what's trying to influence how they think. That distinction is everything.
Wikipedia proved that collective knowledge works when the incentives are right. Genesis extends that proof into the age of AI. A 5.7-million-node knowledge graph, open and verifiable, growing every day. Not owned by Google. Not controlled by OpenAI. A commons. The kind of public infrastructure that Mozilla was born to protect.
When Mozilla released Firefox, it proved that a public-benefit organization could compete with the most powerful corporation on Earth. That precedent changed everything. If Genesis and Mozilla prove that sovereign AI can compete with corporate AI, that precedent changes everything again. For everyone. Forever.
To the Mozilla Foundation —
I'm not a technical founder. I can't write Python. I've never configured a server. When I started this in November 2025, I didn't know what an API was.
What I had was a vision: that the most powerful information tools on Earth should serve people, not exploit them. That truth should be verifiable. That manipulation should be visible. That every person on Earth deserves access to intelligence that helps them think clearly.
131 days later, that vision is running on 8 NVIDIA H200 GPUs, processing 5.7 million knowledge nodes, with 88 technology partners who believe in what we're building.
When I read Mozilla's manifesto, I didn't see a potential partner. I saw a mirror. Your words could have been written by me. My principles could have been written by you. We are building toward the same future from different directions.
The question I'm asking is simple: What happens when the browser that saved the internet meets the intelligence that can protect it?
Let's find out.

Let's Talk
A conversation is all it takes. The technology is built. The partners are committed. The vision is clear.
A Personal Message
Video coming soon — Carter's personal closing message
In 1998, a small team released code that would become the browser used by hundreds of millions. They didn't have a billion-dollar budget. They had conviction.
In 2025, a non-technical founder invested everything he had into building sovereign intelligence. He didn't have a team of hundreds. He had conviction.
Conviction, it turns out, is the most undervalued
asset in technology.
Let's see what happens when conviction meets conviction.
